Going back to UK after 6 years really need some help
Well I'ts been a while since I posted on here .. anyway, one or two things have been happening over the last few months.
I think, and I haven't checked back on threads, but the last time I'd posted we were going back to the UK and the idea was that we'd move into my son's place. Well that fell apart!! Because now he's moved and living with his in-laws with a baby on the way and due in April. (a baby boy!!! and they're calling him "Dylan" !!!) anyway here's our predicament:-
Husband is still in the middle of filing for bankruptcy - he hasn't actually filed yet but just about to. He was going to file for Chapter 7 - which would mean everything would be wiped out. But now, I've realised that he may be forced into a Chapter 13 - (basically a "repayment" plan over the next five years. What I'm worrying about now though is that if that's the case, well he'll be officially an "undisharged bankrupt" for the next five years. He's the US citizen and I'm the Brit. My HUGE worry though is that when I come to apply for the visa for him - is he going to be refused because he will effectively be an "undischarged bankrupt"???
OH please please please - someone tell me some good news!!

NB: Uk-Yankee has a useful forum about visas to the UK.
