We did both. We used a combo of Craigslist and yard sales to sell most of our stuff.

I'm trying to figure out the opposite situation - where to sell some collectible items here in the UK. <<sigh>> this better be the last time we plan an international move.

Seriously, especially in bigger cities, I bet there are British expats passing like ships in the night, selling for nothing and buying for a fortune!

That is so true! Wish we could also find someone who wants electrical items and also a house and business!
