Flying to the UK on a settlement visa

Just curious. If my husband is granted the settlement visa would he be required to fly to the UK on a return ticket or would a one-way ticket be fine?

I would imagine one way is fine given he is settling and not visiting

You may find a return is cheaper than a one way. I did when I came to Canada with my PR. status
