Finding a teaching position in England

Hello everyone,
I moved to California from England 25 years ago. I grew up in Birmingham where I got my O levels, A levels and Foundation in Art. I went to Bath for my bachelors in Fine Arts. I got my teaching credential in California and have been teaching art at the secondary level for the past 24 years. I have dual nationality and I am married with two daughters (11 and 14). I would like to move back to England with my family but would need to line up a teaching position beforehand. Can anyone recommend the best way to find available teaching positions? And does anyone know if my American teaching credential is valid in England?
Thank you!
Joy

You can apply from the USA for a teaching license in the UK. My wife did.

No UK-wide teaching registration. This is a devolved matter. GTC (Scotland) is what you need to teach in Scotland.

 The OP has clearly stated that they are looking for a teaching position in England, that they're moving to England, and are seeking information regarding if their US teaching qualification can be used to teach in England.

Was my bad using the term UK. Yes to teach in Scotland you need a Scottish license, to teach in England an English license, 2 different licenses. So my bad there.
My wife has her license from England, see link above, but is also now pursuing her license in Scotland, since we will be moving to Scotland next year.
