Excess Baggage going back

Re: Excess Baggage going back
Sometimes if you are checked in by another airline you can sometimes get away with it. I was 30kg over but since I was checked in by another airline I didn't get fined. Another time I didn't get fined either when I stopped over and did some shopping then my case was 70kg and since I was on route again I didn't get fined.

It will be at the end of November now.
We are still waiting for the sale to go through on the Business. Had a right go at the setlement agent on Wednesday and told her that she is bloody idle. 19 phonecalls to try and speak to her, always some excuse until we threatened that if a return call wasn't recieved within the next 30 minutes we would be up there. One of those that has blamed everyone else but herself.
So now that we have had words, it looks as though she is going to have it all ready for the middle of next week. I hope so cos its doing my head in.

Hello Sue,
Yes, heading home alone.
Going to live onthe farm with my daughter and grandchildren.
Little George is 3 now and Ruby is knocking on 6 in February.
What are you doing? Are you still inthe UK? I have lost touch somehow.

Hi Whisky,
I've just noticed this thread. We are going back to the UK at the end of November and will have about 150KG of excess baggage.
I've just emailed www.jettaexpress.com.au for a quote but if you look on their website their prices seem really good.
I'll let you know what the quote is when I hear back from them.

Got a quote today from Jetta Express to send back our excess baggage.
$6 per kg (That's for more than 100kg, $7 per kg if less than 100kg).
Also there are the following charges:
$35 Security tax
$30 Airline tax
$20 Insurance.
They will also pick up everything from our house which will cost another $40.
Hope this helps.

Just a thought as i haven't heard of it from anyone on here.
Which airlines allow it, if any?
