English & Civis test this Friday!
Hi everyone,
I am scheduled to be interviewed for Naturalization this Friday, May 21
(FINALLY - very excited!). I was wondering if there is anyone here who
recently took the English and Civics test in Cleveland, OH (or anywhere
else in the US) and would be willing to share the experience or provide
some advice? How many questions that the BCIS officer actually ask?
And were they all in the sample questions that can be downloaded
online? I downloaded the list of questions from the BCIS Web site and
question # 50 reads: "Who is the head of your local government?" What
exactly are they looking for? The name of the mayor for the town I live
in? Sorry, maybe I missed something. I look forward to hearing from
you. Thanks!

They asked me 10 questions and yes they were from the ones you can
download. Mine was in Missouri. Yes the mayor of your town (or at
least that is what my wife said to me).
Best advice - don't sweat it. It is not all that hard. I was told I
needed to get 6 of the 10 correct to pass.

Re: English & Civics test this Friday!
Alexj -- just wanted to thank you for the advice and let you know that the
interview was a piece of cake. The USCIS officer said I should hear from them
again in about a month with my Oath Ceremony date!!!!!! )))) Thanks
again!
