Electronics and moving back
My daughters have a few electronic items that they don't know wether to sell here or to purchase new back in England. There are 2 MacBook laptops and an iMac desktop. What would you do?

Re: Electronics and moving back
Yup, take them back. Just check the power supplies say something like 12-240v 50/60hz and if not it's easy to get replacements in UK.
Have you seen the price of Crapple equipment in the UK? |
Re: Electronics and moving back
No need to worry about the voltage if the devices are post 2006. All Apple devices after that point support both voltages.

Re: Electronics and moving back
We brought back 2 MacBooks, 2 iPhones and and iPad. No problem with voltages, but it is always worth checking any electronic devices, for example our fairly new Brother inkjet printer/scanner is not dual voltage so I had to buy a voltage converter.
