Default Driving in UK spouse visa

Hello all. It's been ages I have posted. Just trying to adjust to life in the UK. It will soon be a year I landed and I'm now looking to drive. I'm from a country where I can only drive for 1 year on my license though I never used it. I'm ready to drive now and there's not much info online. Do I apply first for a provisional license or what exactly am I to do? Thank you for your response

Yes, you should go ahead and apply for your provisional licence. Once you receive it you can book driving lessons if you think you’ll need them. Otherwise you can go ahead and book your theory test. Once you pass that then you can book your practical test.
