Default Do you get health/travel insurance for going back to the UK?

We leave on Thursday for 2 weeks at home

It didn't occur to me until now that I might need to get somekind of insurance as we won't be able to use the NHS for free if we had to. It seems to go against the grain to get insurance when we are staying with our respective parents for 2 weeks, but I will if I need to.

What do y'all do?

Did you buy it from a US or UK company?

i would be fairly happy to go to the emergency dept in the uk if i needed to on a holiday - i paid enough in taxes over the years. However - the insurance also covers medical repatriation - ie cost of air ambulance to bring me back to my 'home' as well as delays, luggage lost, etc etc so it could still be worth getting it.

Our US insurance covers us when we are overseas. If it didn't I feel the same way as MsElui...I would use the NHS.

Our Blue cross covers medical for wherever we are. I don't think I'd want to be shipped back if I were sick

I checked, our policy does not cover us at the moment, so we'll just take the chance and us the NHS if we have to.
