Default Dinner ladies in high school!

A few weeks ago the kitchen at my daughters high school ran out of ketchup, they had to put a notice up to inform the kids....

Well, they got "Currently" right. I would say that there's a reason they are dinner ladies, but I work with professionals that our just as bad.

My son brought home a referral slip when he was in elementary school. I told him he had to take his punishment, but sent the note back with a comment on the "he be throwing things at lunch" part.

My son has been helping our neighbour's kid out with some extra math homework recently. The work sheets the child brings home from 6th grade are littered with spelling mistakes
Being a teacher myself, I think in this day and age with spell check and grammar check, it's unexcusable

I remember getting a note from school for my DD, well more like a certificate for sports day...it said

"Congratulations you winned the egg and spoon race"...

That is often the problem, if the computer spell checker does not pick it up then people assume it must be fine.

My grandmother was born and raised in Indiana.....I always found her way of pronouncing some words to be interesting....
