Different dimension for choosing where to live?
The BBC has a piece about research done which has mapped the personality of places in the UK -

Re: Different dimension for choosing where to live?
Thanks, Rebs, this is great! My hubby and I are moving to Worthing in May (where we have a flat) and are still debating where to settle permanently. This test indicates Oxford for me (but we can't afford it) :(

Re: Different dimension for choosing where to live?
Great I did the test and it certainly agrees with my choice if I were ever to decide to go back to the UK.
Thanks for sharing. |
Re: Different dimension for choosing where to live?
West Somerset for me and I would like that but where I live now is only 1% point lower so I reckon I'm pretty well placed!

Re: Different dimension for choosing where to live?
I got Oxford. Never been there myself but hubby worked there on a contract a couple of years ago and based on what he tells me I doubt I'd be happy living there. On the subject of current location, the test says where I live now has a 45% happiness rating for me. Funny, I would have sworn it was in negative territory  However, all that's about to change and Yorkshire is once again on our horizon

Craven in the Yorkshire Dales because I am neurotic.
No offence but that wouldn't suit me at all. |

Re: Different dimension for choosing where to live?
my results came out as 'Highland' or the far north reaches of Britain, includes Ben Nevis in the results. 'Open spaces, few people', it had me to a tee

Re: Different dimension for choosing where to live?
Mid Devon for me. Too bad, I'm going to Liverpool

Re: Different dimension for choosing where to live?
What a fun test! Mole Valley for me! I actually live in Lambeth and it says I would only get 44% satisfaction living here! However, I am quite happy here and would not consider moving at this time.
