DBS checks
 

Hello,
We are possibly moving back to the UK from BC Canada (once the pandemic thing has calmed) My wife wants to work for the NHS again. and I hope to teach there. We will search for jobs when we are there. We know we will need a DBS check. My question is whether it is wise to get a RCMP criminal record check before we go there as we have lived in Canada for many years. I have written to the NHS and to UK.GOV and have been surprised at the conflicting advice given. I would be grateful to hear from anyone who has made this move ,
