I wasn't a huge fan of Steven Irwin's OTT personality but I admired his dedication to wildlife and conservation. He singlehandedly educated millions of people all over the world about animals and their habitats. It's tragic that he has died, but at least he was doing something he loved right up until the moment he took his last breath. That's more than most of us can ever hope for.

. But yes, it's very sad and I was quite shocked when I read the story this morning. He was fearless when it came to gods creatures and that is unfortunately the reason he is no longer with us. Sad, very sad .
