Coooeeee everyone -update from me!!!
Well hello peeps, long time no speak!!
Anyway here i am again & back online properly!
So what have been up to??.... Well i now have my own home- well a 2 bed council house! But its ours & we are very happy indeed. I cant believe i didnt come home sooner as its the best thing i ever did! the only downside is the amount of weight ive gained from proper home english cooking!
Megy is settled well now & goes to nursery 2 days a week. She loves it & it certainly gives me a break.
My social life is picking up, well not great but much better than ' OVER THERE'! I dont have a man as TBH i cant be bothered! I am much better with my marriage break up now & have not cried for nearly 4 weeks! Found a lot of evidence on email that pointed to him speaking to girls b4 i left. he has admitted to missing me this week & supposedly still loves me. Unfortuantely he wont come back so his loss. he is about to be there totally alone as his son is also coming back here to live with his mum. ive tried talking him into coming home for his kids buts he wont so its up to him!
Anyway, how is everyone that i remember - Lynne & mick, Stu, Louise D, Birdy & loads i cant think of now. Hope those that came back to UK are also totally settled too!
I hope to try 7 post a bit more now, though not easy when you have a very lively 2 year old!!

Oh Jude you sound so happy!! It's pretty daunting making the decision to return and obviously in your case even more so. But now at least you know you made the right move and it was all worth it. Well done on the house too.
I'm still really happy here and although there are certain things I miss about Oz, I'm thoroughly enjoying being home and totally appreciate everything so much more - I would never go back there to live.
It's so lovely to hear from you and to know that you and Meggy are well and happy - keep enjoying

So glad you're settled and have your own place. You look really well from your photo too I like that there a face to go with on here you if you know what I mean.
I'm home too. Been back just over a month and alls good, very glad to be home again. Am staying with a friend in Devon whilst looking for work etc. Tis lovely being back and am spending time going here n there, catching up with friends etc - so much choice of places to go. Also soaking up our lovely countryside too, daily.

Its nice to see that you appear to be happy again and things are working out for you!
I'm also enjoying being back, although I do still have moments where I miss Oz etc, mainly cos I'd like to be by the sea and in the sun again, but I can always overcome that problem a few times a year by hopping on a plane for an hour or two!

remember me welshlass, I was only wondering how you were going just last week,well its nice to know that you both sound happy and settled back there, and that life is returning to how you want it to be.
My daughter has just told us that she too is going back to the UK taking our two granddaughters with her, as you can imagine we are heartbroken but as she is not happy here what can we do? we only want her to be happy so if this what she wants so be it. On the plus side all my family are there so she has a good support unit & her and her fiance have decided to give it another go. So even though its not going to be easy for any of us we have to support her in her decision, even though i'm loosing my best friend......
So its mixed emotions at the moment but hopefully it will get better.

Hi megansmummy im so glad you sounds so much better just in your writing...
I have been over the homesickness for 3mths now and dont want to return home now, i work full time for the council and take my 2yr old to the works creche. I now know this is what i needed to be out working. I felt phyically sick as you know for months but hopefully im past the worst and love it here.
