We're in the process of moving to the UK/Wales from Denmark. Instead of using a traditional removal company, the option of using a shipping container has been raised, to save money.
This would mean that we would be responsible for filling and emptying it at both ends, which is not a problem. Obviously everything will need to be properly secured & padded so that there would be no danger of items moving around in transit.
What other factors should we look out for? Insurance and customs clearance in the UK come to mind.
Has anybody experience of this and can offer advice?
