These are pretty small amounts.
So I suspect the OP is really inquiring about other, more substantial benefits.
Perhaps the extra £210 per month might be useful to the OP - pays for a couple of weeks of food for the whole family.

Yes. But also it changes certain aspects of my liabilities with being a dual tax citizen during the transition as I deal with moving stuff out of Canada and back into the UK.

But mainly it's just a case of making sure my numbers work out as I expect. It's impossible to plan without knowing the full information.
