Changing Address on Drivers License

Hi Folks

Just moved back to the UK from America where I lived for 7 years (due to employment). My D/L expires next year April (2025). I attempted to change my address online but it came back that they could not validate my information (like I didn't exist).

As I would like to get my address updated before I need to renew, should I just use Form D1? Or does anyone know why I would get such an error message and prevented from updating my address?

PLEASE DISREGARD!!! Numpty here.... Didn't include my middle name, which is printed on my D/L, on the application. All sorted!!
