Default Cat Lovers - Does this come as a surprise?

Cat owners may have suspected as much, but it seems our feline friends have found a way to manipulate us humans.

This smacked of a 'duh, I could have told you that' kind of story ya know. I know my fiendish furballs know exactly how to manipulate us - the spoiled rotten little sh&ts.

Interesting...I always thought that siamese cats sounded like a baby crying, very strange 'meow'

Mine is a heinz kitty, mostly persian, but he is very good at getting what he wants!

Oh, mine does the purr but doesn't need to to get what she wants. She has me so well trained, all she has to do is give me the stare with the appropriate meow and I jump to it.

Doesn't surprise me at all lol! My furbie just spend three weeks with my sister whilst I was in Virginia with Michael. By week two she had managed to get my sister to feed her chicken, smoked salmon, crab and prawns the reward for which was lots of snuggles and head butting.

You might have seen this but I love it - Simon's Cat

I'm not sure if that tells more about cats or the type of people that would own them.

I'd seen that one before, but there were two others on there by Simon's Cat that I hadn't seen! Hilarious!

Oh, and my PK definitely knows how to get his way...whether it be cuddly purrs or ear-piercing shrieks. LOL

Yup, us too. After all these years, the kitten and I understand each other pretty well.

Both of ours are Siamese, and I can attest to the strange meow's at odd times. Our male cat sometimes wanders down to the basement, and then starts to basically howl (i guess because he 'forgot' how to walk back upstairs). And I swear when he does that incessant meow, it sounds like he's saying 'mom, mom, mom' over and over.

Oh, but I do have one up on him. All I have to do is whistle and he comes running - so I've got him well trained too.

I LOVED a few of those Simon videos. I will defo need to watch a few more.

There were only 3 "Simon's Cat" videos, that I could see. You've probably seen all 3 now.

Not sure if you're talking about the feline or the spouse there.
