We are with Admiral and Quik Fit and both accepted our Australian no claims in full and didnt want to see proof. We pay around £275 each fully comp. Most places I tried would accept the no claims.

The further datapoints are appreciated, and more would be welcome.
For those who did get NCB granted, it would be helpful to know how much it would have been without the NCB.

RJB123 is an unknown quantity at this point
Default Re: Car Insurance

I believe I got 50% discount so without the discount it would have been about 950 pounds on a 2010 Tiguan.

Just got insurance with NFU for my shiny new Golf 1.6 TDI SE. They let me use my US no claims with proof from insurance company there. A little under £500. I do very high miles for business. It was the best quote with the best coverage of all the quotes I got. They have a local office which I like because I can call and talk to the same person when I'm ready for home insurance, business insurance, etc. It didn't feel like she was just checking off boxes and she was extremely helpful.
