Nothing is going well we have not sold our house and cant seem to get anyone to rent it, we have made an appeal to the LEA so will have to wait and see we are cutting it fine as this will probably give us one week to book flights etc. We have decided if the kids dont all get in their school the move will be cancelled.

Sorry to give u this news but we came home in 2007, my daughter got back into the same school but my son did not. I have home taught my son for 2 years appealed twice and was still turned down. Now I am paying privately for him to attend college as he is now 15 years old. :(

I used education otherwise for support, but being a Lecturer and having taught in primary, senior and colleges I was able to give my son a very good start. He passed his Adult Literacy and Numeracy exams at 13 years old. So there are still other alternatives. And u can now do yr GCSE's coursework online. Therefore schools are not the only option these days.:)
