Blood testing pets going to UK

I`m in Canada. According to the write up on pets going to UK the blood sample that is taken has to be carried out by a recognised DEFRA laboratory. Looking at the list of laboratories there doesn`t seem to be one in Canada the closest is in Kansas USA. Anyone having any info on this....... thanks.

No direct experience (sorry) but have you seen the 'Taking pets back to the UK' thread in this section. There are a couple of posters there who live in canada and who are taking pets back to the UK. It might help you. Sorry I can't help you more:(

We are in Canada and we sent out tests to the laboratory in Kansas.

Just make sure you get the FAVN Test and that you allow the appropriate amount of time between the booster being administered and the blood test being taken. Apparently this is down to each individual booster.
