Best joint savings account for couples living internationally ?
Me and my husband want to set up a savings account (or
some method of saving money safely together). However he is currently living abroad in Morocco. I am based in the UK. Can anyone offer some advice on our best option of savings account which will work internationally? We were thinking PayPal? Thanks in advance

Paypal offer savings accounts ? I thought it was a way of paying for things that you buy online.

Why not go and see one of your local banks or building societies ?

Morocco and UK?
It "has" to be a French Bank, probably based in Paris.
I suggest you go over to the France forum and ask there.

I suggest you open up a UK savings account, and your husband transfers money into it from time to time using Currency Direct, Transferwise or similar .
Too frequent transfers of currency rack up transfer charges, but infrequent transfers are vulnerable to fluctuations in exchange rates.

You specialise in non sequiturs.
Morocco was once a French protectorate, up to around 70 years ago. Why you think this should make a French bank account desirable for a Brit working in Morocco is a mystery.
Would you suggest that a Brit working in the Congo should open a Belgian bank account?
Is it that you feel these ex-colonies aren't up to managing their own banking systems yet?
