Does anyone know what one of the other posters meant when he said everything changed on the date of the fee increase? Is the change for the worse or better, since perhaps the back up was caused by mass people trying to submit their applications before they had to pay more?
I said that, and I was not saying it in an optimistic way. There was a huge workload dumped into the system July 30, there is talk of hiring a batch of new workers (which rarely speeds thing up immediately).
'Worse or better' is subjective. I think that realistically, timelines are slower at the moment than they have been in the past, and there is no way to know if they will speed up in the urgent future.
