I loved those fairy penguins. I didn't realize they were that small. Also, you're brave/crazy to do the Sky Jump. I hope you didn't eat or drink much before you leapt off!

Yep the little blues are really so cute! They swim like lightning though! Yep I'm brave/crazy to have done the SkyJump... still not sure which. I was 100% sober and had had brekkie about 4 hours earlier, so nothing to throw up in my tummy.

Great pics Maz, I enjoyed looking at them. Poor little girl with the scraped up nose - bet she had a good cry over that one. Looks like you had a great time!

Thanks Mallory! Yep Lauren had a good cry, but thankfully we were very close to the start of the walk around Craters of the Moon, which for an adult is estimated to take 45 minutes (it's very windy as they steer you on a path through the most unstable parts of the geothermal activity!), but for us with Lauren took about twice that. Lots of blood, but it healed up in about 10 days, so not so bad.

Thanks JG! She's a sweetie when she wants to be, but definitely no pushover! She's got a massive stubborn streak, but we figure we'd much rather she had her own opinions than be a doormat later on in life.
