Yes, going into Ireland is a whole other ball game. We looked at that option, too, but it then gave us other headaches of getting the animals to Scotland.. always stressful!

we are going to the North - so UK so need the TOR for our goods however I did also put the dog on it in case it was ever said we didn't claim her!!

TOR update, my dog landed in the UK on Sunday, no TOR number so an immediate payment of 425 pounds vat!
Finally got a response to a follow up email I sent about 13 days ago...... they 'couldn't find' my TOR app so had to resend!!!!

Wow, that was high. I know it's a pain but resubmit for TOR and then reclaim VAT. Disappointing wait times for that, too. We are 6 weeks in and have heard nothing.

We were 22 days back in April, however I called them on Friday as we have our pets TOR URN and to see about adding our furnishings to it. I was told that they are currently working on applications from July 5th.. as they get more applications some days than others, he reckoned they were around 3 weeks out. They were super nice on the phone, so I would suggest you call as it would appear that your application may have gone missing.

I called about our TOR application 4 days ago and they say they are processing at about 28 days currently. So we should hear something in about another week or so.

Update on TOR..... my application was MIA...... resent all my info and a super helpful guy had me a TOR number next day! To late for the dog, but good to go for my container.

WOW £425! Thank god we got our TOR about 5 days before flying out! On collecting our dog at the Pets on Jets centre (Manchester) a lady collecting her cat had no TOR and she was charged around 20 quid from memory. I know it wasn't much. Hope you get it refunded asap!
