Another Spouse Visa Question
 

Does anyone have an idea of how long it takes to process a Spouse Visa Application? We have all paperwork except my "Official Offer Of Employment & Official Agreement Of Flat Rental" Both are due this week & we have confirmed flights booked & paid for on May 10th.

Well in Canada it takes take 10-15 business days for a straight foward application accompanied with the documents required! i have applied for a spouse visa myself to go and join my husband but mine is taking long because i am waiting for my sons passportto come next week.. he's a newborn.
I dont think its wise to have booked a flight already because you dont know whether your spoused will be granted the visa or refused. especially because of the accomodation and work papers which are very important!
Good luck i hope you get it... i hope i get mine and leave for UK in mid-may.

We applied in person in LA for my Australian Hubby's spouse visa and iit was granted in a few days.

This was a couple of years ago so things might have changed by now

My hubby's took six weeks it was done through the British embassy in Canada.

Her Spouse Settlement Visa arrived via FedEx this morning. 8 working days "door to door".
