advice please

Hello to all you lucky folks who have made the move back home. I was wondering if anyone on here arrived back in UK with no place set up to live. My circumstances have changed and I'm not receiving any help or support from family. So, when I arrive back in UK I will have no place to stay temporarily and need to find a rental ASAP!

Peigi did that, I'm not sure she posts anymore :(
She stayed in a room she let in someones house. There was a whole website dedicated to it, then once she settled she rented a flat of her own.

Were you the person who was originally planning to live in Harlow, Essex?

You may not have spotted this link which I posted a few days ago.....it may be a solution if you're planning to move to the London/Greater London area:

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/money/mor...heap-rent.html

PS: I've just re-read it - the Homeshare scheme also operates in Bristol, Cumbria and East Sussex but any organisation or local authority can operate the Homeshare scheme anywhere in the UK.

No Englishmum, I'm not moving to Essex. You must be thinking of someone else on here. Thank you for re-posting that link for me. I read the article and checked out the Crossroads care website. It's definately worth looking into.

ribena - this is only an idea and maybe not good one at that. have you thought of doing a roomshare whilst you search for place to live or maybe look at corporate housing companies. they usually have places fully furnished and rent includes everything - can be short term/long term. these are just ideas until you get place sorted out..
