Role: Head of International Business Network Development for Major International Schools System, based in UAE
About Client: Group is over 30 years old and is one of the largest N-12 school organizations in the world with over 175,000 full-time pupils in 8 countries including Bangladesh, Malaysia, Oman, Pakistan, Philippines, Thailand, the UAE, and the UK. They have also recently been awarded a contract to manage and upgrade a number government schools in the UAE.

About the Role: Our client seeks a Head of International Business Development who will be responsible for developing the international business of the group in Europe and the Middle East regions, as well as other regions in the future. The role entails:
• Looking for opportunities for new acquisitions of schools;
• Looking for opportunities for new public/private partnerships involving management of school systems;
• Dealing with 3rd parties in assessing opportunities, negotiations, contracts and agreements;
• Preparing feasibilities and proposals for the Board of Directors;
• Preparing reports, agendas and minutes for the Board and acting as the link with external equity partners;
• Development of UAE office of the group;

Minimum requirements:
• MBA (Finance), Qualified Chartered Accountant or similar;
• Considerable experience of finance, acquisitions and negotiations;
• Experience of Business Development at an international level;
• Native English speaker with excellent interpersonal skills.
