IT consultants required for Dubai
We are currently recruiting an IT Consultant; the candidate will be performing the roles as listed below;
Consultants Main Roles
· Service Annual maintenance contracts – Standard Contract includes weekly visits to check servers and resolve client issues. You will have a list of clients that are yours to service, you alone (with additional resources or support as required) will be responsible for each contract. The contracts range from 1-3 Windows servers (Exchange and SQL) and 10-60 windows clients to 6 Servers (Linux, open Bsd and windows). You would be managing clients that are within your skill set however there will be opportunities to experience new OS’s if you are keen.
· New setups – All setups are shared between consultants, all get their fair share of new installations.
· Account Management – You will not be a standard systems administrator or straight IT engineer, you will be an independently thinking Consultant. You will be expected to manage each client. This will include keeping them happy (Managing Expectations), recommendations for improvement, recommendations to avoid disaster and realising potential sales/work opportunities for the company.
The candidate needs to be, charismatic, self motivated and able to handle his/her own schedule. Our clients are mainly from UK/Europe, Australia, South Africa, Russia, Canada and America. We would like to keep our employees from the same national and cultural backgrounds; the candidate must therefore be from one of those countries.
Requirements
Previous experience in a similar role
Microsoft Certified systems Engineer 2003 (MCSA Minimum, Please do not apply if you do not have MCSA)
Microsoft Exchange 2007 Knowledge
Linux, Apple Mac, Cisco knowledge a bonus
Drivers License
Basic Package
Basic Monthly Salary:
With MCSA – 8,500 AED
With MCSE – 9,500 AED
Accommodation – Provided
Car – Provided
Exam Fees (Microsoft, Cisco, Redhat)
1 Flight per year, 22 Working days holiday per year (30 Calendar)
