This guy walked out of Deira City Centre only to find a traffic warden busy writing a parking ticket.....
"you bastard" he shouted at the warden as the ticket was slapped on the windscreen.
"Right, thats another ticket for bald tyres" said the warden licking his pencil
"t*****r" shouted the man
"& thats another ticket for expired registration" said the warden gleafully
"bast**d" shouted the man who promptly stalked off...
"Just where do you think you're off to" demanded the warden
"Oh.... i'm going home..... my cars parked round the corner....."

Did you read that letter in the paper a couple of weeks ago about parking in city centre - apparently a woman saw a guy parking his car in an area clearly marked 'no parking' - all the other cars parked in this area had tickets on them - so he promptly got out of his car took a ticket off somebody elses windscreen and put it on his car - thereby making it look as if his car had already been booked Good idea I thought

Just got back from school run and noticed that all the speed cameras on SZR now have bright orange HP casings on them - least it makes them easier to see now - very thoughtful

So how come I ended up with a AED200 fine from the one outside Emirates Towers?

Tut tut - don't know how you managed to go over 100k along that stretch - usually moving about 5k whenever I go past

Emirates Towers is before IC1! Little tip.... Stick to the speed limit!

I saw those HP "radar billboards'' too. OMFG.
They are willing to encourage speeding on their roads, and endanger more lives for the sake of a few bucks from HP???
So far they've missed a few, but they will surely fill them up in due time.
