Hi,
Please could you advise me on this package which I have been offered in Doha:
- Salary: ~60,000 QR/month
- Includes "suitable accommodation" (that's exactly what it says!)
- Includes school fees upto 20,000 QR per child (upto 3 kids, and I have 3 kids).
- 50 days annual leave
- Business class tickets for family at start, end and annual leave.
I would be quitting a secure (but boring) "job for life" in the UK which pays net £4,500 after tax.
Do you think it's worth it?

the money's good but get clarification on the accommodation - assume nothing and trust nobody
your job probably won't be boring, but maybe not for the right reasons ! Life could become a bit boring though, Doha ain't Dubai
careful of the education too - 20k is ok when they're little but it goes up to 50/60 when they reach 12
I'm about to do the complete opposite, just wish I could take the weather with me
edit* - all depends on who the company is as well

The deal seems ok but do loads of research on this place . It'll never be in the top 10 destinations to visit that's for sure .

They may have something else for me but i'm not sure what , when or where at the moment so i'm keeping my options open .
They're a good bunch to work for but you never know what's round the corner .
