OK, I've searched the forum and can't find any info on working mums. Any out there who can give any tips / advice ???

We have an 11 yr. old (about to start P7) and my wife presently works teaching drama / voice to kids & adults (some with special needs). If we come out she would like to keep working but obviously she may have to change jobs.

What are the options ?

there are plenty of working Mums out here, it is just a case of getting the right job and decent after school care for your 11 year old.

I'm a working Mum, there will be opportunities I reckon. Just ensure, if your wife wants to work, that she gets her qualifications attested before you come, it'll be much easier. Might be worth her looking at websites of schools, special needs centres in the Emirate you are planning to move to and also Dubai Community and Arts Theatre (you can probably google it).
