Working in AD
Hi. Looking for a bit of advice from those in the know regarding employment/visa in Abu Dhabi.
Do employers value a degree over experience? I have 18 years experience in training and development (HR) at management level, but no degree. Do you think this will seriously hinder my job search?
My other question is about my status, I am divorced with a son. I was married when I had him and his Dad would give permission for him to move? Could this cause any issues?
Cheers

More specifically, for senior roles a degree may actually be necessary to get you a visa. Like everything here, there is an exception to every rule - it's just a matter of how well sought after you would be.
As for sponsoring your son, it's not impossible - although you can only do that until they are 18.
