Work Visa Question
 
If i travel to Dubai on a normal 30day visa...can i apply for my work visa whilst in the country or do i have to leave, apply and re-enter? Thanks:)

Yes, so long as you find a company to sponsor you.

Thanks...yes i have a job out there already but the company is taking its time with the visa and flights etc...i just wondered if i could go out there and have a couple weeks holiday until i start without having to re-enter the country with my work visa. :thumbup:

of course you can. your company needs to apply for "Taadeel wadh" arabic for "legal status amendment" after you've been granted employment permit. costs AED 650 approx paid by the company.

yes, in DUBAI the process would be very flexible at this time of the year compared with other GCC but REMEMBER to bring with you your complete portfolio.
