Default Work for the Missus

Am in Muscat, been here for 6 weeks now, and the wife is asking questions about how easy it may be, or not for her to find a job here when the kids start school in September.

Is there anybody out here who may be able to shed some light or advise from first hand experience.

Really trying to find out if it will affect her Visa and Resident Card as sponsored by me and the company I work for, and what sort of money would it be likely that she may get.

If it helps, she has plenty of PA and secretarial experience.

Thanks to you all, and all those in UAE, enjoy the rest of your weekend

shouldn't be a problem at all. Getting one to suite round the school hours might be an issue though. Once she finds something you will probably have to give a letter of no objection, as she is on your visa, she will then get a labour card and off she goes! (that's how it is here).

Good luck
