Default WMD Baloney - now Syria

Only the gullible would fall for the hokum fed to the public about what has been happening in the Levant.

Here is an antidote to all that mainstream flimflam

Hersh’s new Syria revelations buried from view

OK all that argues is that Sarin was not the lethal agent delivered, it agrees that a chemical agent was delivered so does that make it any better that Sarin was not?????

Rather like well we shot them with .22 calibre instead of .50 calibre.....oh good so that makes it alright then!!

Almost but not quite, as I see it anyway.

If you drop a regular conventional bomb it goes bang and things break, fair enough, but no red line crossed. If you drop a chemical bomb much more nasty stuff happens, red line crossed. So what happens if you drop a regular bomb but it lands on your enemy's big stockpile of nasty nerve agent blowing it up and all over the shop. Nasty stuff happens but it was not your payload. Red line crossed???

Well there are International Conventions in place with reference to Gas/Nerve Chemical Munitions banning them, and in particular many agreements that deal directly with Syria

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Destru...emical_weapons

So in the case of a conventional bomb hitting this rather nasty stuff Al Assad would be admitting that he is the lying piece of crap we know him to be. It would also be extremely embarrassing to Russia, as they have purported to have assisted in the eradication of his stockpile !!
