Default Wheres best to live, Sharjah or Ajman?

Hi everyone. This is my first post so please bear with me!

My husband is returning to Sharjah on a 1 year contract. He has a 1 bedroom flat in the Maysaloon area where the lease expires in November. His employer has agreed that we can search for a property in Sharjah or Ajman or local up to 40,000 when it expires.

I will join him with our daughter (who then will be 3). Although he will have a car I will probably will not, so I would like to know from this well educated forum the following:

Where is best to live, Sharjah or Ajman or which area in each?

What is more friendly for a 3 year old girl with stuff to do?

What is the best nurseries in both?

What agents could I contact to get a 2 bedroom property in either Sharjah and Ajman?

Would anyone suggest a different area to live (husband works at Sharjah Cricket Stadium)?

Is there an expat community in either?

will hopefully get something part time - Are there any expats that could put me in touch with companies!!!???

I visited in Feb Sharjah but did not see Ajman, and went to the Wanderers Club, any help would be much appreciated!!!

Thanks

Hello, welcome.

You say up to 40k????
There are a few posters on here from SHJ. I'm sure Sarah or Confi will help you out with your Q but tbh 40k worries me greatly if I were in your shoes.
Hope I'm wrong.Good luck

I agree, it seems a bit on the low side. Banter will be best person to advise, she has a little one and is in Sharjah

Thanks for the replies. Unfortunately we are unable to push for more of a budget, so we are stuck with the 40k. It would be either my daughter and I stay in the UK and visit, or we stick to the 1 bedroom apartment he is in at the minute

I have seen a 2 bedroom advertised in Ajman AL RASHIDIYA TOWERS 1566sq ft - Is that any good?
