Hi there, I am getting a job in Dubai, basic salary AED 7,500 and accommodation allowance of AED 65,000. I am a single girl coming alone. Do you think this is enough? Where will I be able to find a 1 bedroom apartment for this price? I will be working at Festival City (10mins from the airport).
Appreciate everyone's response.. Alisha

i doubt you would get an apartment for that, you're looking at a room in a house share...and you'll struggle on the salary too, unless you are the stay at home type...

as a singleton in a shared house or studio it is doable. But she wont have a lot of spare cash.

Oh Gosh okay so it looks like majority is saying no.. but there's a lot of internal pressure within my company to take this job as it's a good opportunity. I could get about AED 8,500 if I negotiate, but will the extra AED 1000 make any difference?
I get a car allowance of AED 1000, and accommodation of AED 65,000.
A friend of mine has a two bedroom villa in Mirdiff, and I could share that for AED4000 a month inc live in maid. Do you think this is good? I know Mirdiff is close to Festival City.
