Where to get curtains altered?

Bought some curtains last weekend, and need a hem taking up on them... not the most agile with a needle & thread, and tried a couple of tailors over the weekend... "trousers only sir"...

Anyone got suggestions of where I can get a hem taken up on curtains near either Mercatto or Palm Jumeirah (or anywhere between)

If not, may be a job for Wonder Web :lol:

have you tried any of the tailors in sawta?? or gemaco on SZR, just by ace...they make curtains, so they may offer an alteration service...
