Not up to much today, missus is working...so i'm hanging out here...tomorrow...probably wrap some stuff up and the like...on tuesday, going down to rockland, only driving place open on tuesday, to do my theory test...they changed the driving laws in maine, thank god i'm over 23, as under 23 need a learners permit for 6 month before allowed to take test...which is stupid...be embarrassed if I fail, what are they gonna do? I'll just drive home using UK license....hmmm...anyway, so gotta learn the moose accident stats etc :D

How often u hv to do the driving test? In Indo ur license renewal every 5 yrs (u don't hv to do any theory or practical test), the same in Doha... I think hubby told me in the UK u don't hv to do ur test till u r 60 or something around that age.

Don't have to do a re-test until your 70, or if you've had your license taken away in the UK...over here..well I've got to take it cos I'm still using my UK license, maine is one of the few states that'll allow you to do so for up to 12 months...just getting round to it now, never thought we would be in maine for so long, so wanted to save money on license and tests..oh well...test ain't hard..but supposedly, maine is one of the harder states to pass, especially the theory...which is scary cos no one can drive here...but the theory has stupid questions like number of moose accidents, how many people killed on the roads etc...but practical should be easy....hmmm
