I ended up going to Kachins down in Deira. Hillarious head tailor called 'The Master' who thinks he is it and a bit, but by jingo he knows how to make a suit. My brother and I both got 3 piece suits, they are excellent and well worth it. Recommend that particular branch and 'The Master' if you can get over his self importance!

Three-piece makes sense - Jacket + Pants + Pants.
Waistcoats, however, are strictly for prats.

Pants? Surely a man should wear trousers to be decently dressed?

And actually a suit has a coat, not a jacket. And a waistcoat...

At the risk of attracting even more vitriol than usual - isn't the correct term 'trouser'? The 's' may be used at Stamford Bridge, but not Knightsbridge........

But no one says trouser unless as a verb.

In fact, I've just checked on line and found this. 'Outside the clothing retail and fashion industries, the use of the noun trouser to refer to a pair of trousers is rare, and often considered pretentious.' (Wiktionary)

If you want one pretty cheap try M & S? I was looking yesterday, you'll get a UK quality suit for between 100-150 quid - there's one in Landmark, not sure if there are any in the other 10,000 shopping malls in Doha
