what time is beach road closed for the national day parade?
 

Does anyone know? My first week living on beach road and I want to make sure the guests to my bbq can actually get to the villa :)

"Official" police escorted parade starts at 9.15am from Wonderland then up to Beach Road and on to Hatta returning around 3pm.

Unofficial will go on all day and well into the night with usual fewkwits screaming up and down beach road hanging from cars and setting off fireworks. This goes on until the early hours of Thursday morning. So glad we are off beach Road this year.

Not all the beach road is closed. I think only the section from Jumeirah Beach Park to the Jumeirah Mosque is closed. If you are in Umm Suqeim you'll be fine.
