What should I bring?
Hopefully moving out to Dubai in November and wondered what paperwork I need to bring. Will be coming to work, qualifications aren't needed to be shown to my employer but will anyone else need to see them in general life? I need my passport of course but anything else???

sure others will add to this but you defo need to bring: a gazillion passport photos, degree certificate (will need to get it attested for your visa), birth certificate and driving licence...probably a marriage licence too if you are sponsoring your wife...

you will need about 30 passport style photos as well.

Ive already photocopied my passport, need to find my birth cert first so I can photocopy that! Photos, will get them done asap. Is a bank account easy enough to sort? Is it a credit check in the UK thing or just apply and get one?

why does everybody say bring lots of passport sizes photos? You can get them here easier and cheaper, plus different departments want different coloured backgrounds and the ID department take their own pictures, as does the RTA for your drivers license.
You can open a deposit account with just your passport to start off with.
Marriage license ( if you have 1) needs to be attested as do professional qualifications.
Don't forget to bring the full drivers license and it may be worth getting an international license so you can hire a car when you 1st get here.

I'm one of the lucky ones to be getting everything supplied by my company like car, mobile etc but will bring full license anyway.
