What is a "Jumeirah Jane"?
I am new on this forum and am full of questions, but I see this phrase quite a bit.
Are they sort of Valley Girls, or what?

Jumeirah Janes were traditionally the ladies who lived in Jumeirah, who didn't work and spent their time in beauty salons etc. There was a little book written on the subject, quite entertaining! there are also Satwa Sally's etc.

an example of one was a leathered skinned peroxide boot that walked into the waiting room at the carwash at the greens yesterday and demanded new mats for her hyundai coupe (WTF??) and proceeded to grab them from the nice indian chappy and stormed out without a please or a thank you.
All she did whilst the nice fella was explaining that they came in 2 sizes was moan that she was in a rush for an appointment (aye at the ugly face clinic) and she didnt have time to listen to this mere shit on her shoe wasting her time.
she shot me an even worse look when i burst out laughing at the dildo and told her in a nice world please and thankyou's help.
She must have forgotten that from her days behing the checkout in Asda's in Stevenage
Bet there are a few like that on here

It is a matter of culture thou. some cultures saying please and thanks is not the norm. It doesnt mean that they dont mean it.
But for British expat snobs. Im afraid that their is now a lot of rif-raf here ...who think they are a cut above the rest..
