I dont know about you guys, but i cant find decent Potato Salad anywhere !!

My chicken and mushroom pot noodle dilemma has been resolved courtesy of Choitrhams.

I must admit I really miss good South African Biltong!!! and Peanut butter that is still in its sell by date...

Excuse my ignorance, but what is Biltong ?

It may sound totally gross but it is basically spiced dried meat. I think in the USA htey call it beef jerky(SP?). It has a very unique taste and if it is good then it is really good. Cannot seem to get any good biltong out here, Spinneys has here but it is like eating sawdust...

That would be great! Have orderded from RSA, arriving on Thursday, some family coming through. Would be great to find a Dubai source though, I really miss it!!!

Have you tried the fish and chippy on SZR, I remember the owner telling me once they had pies and that they fashioned theirs on the UK pies and got all ingredients from the UK. Cannot remember, I have only tried their fish - just like the UK, even in news paper!!! Very good and well worth it.

Have you tried Spinneys Mirdiff, they have a fantastic pork section and not everything is frozen, they have a lot of fresh stuff and they have loads of RSA bacon (personally I think the best bacon), They have chops, sausages, ham (plenty of different flavors), bacon, roasts, gamons, etc, etc. It is a great section!!
