western expat compounds Khobar
 

I have been offered a role with Nesma in Khobar. They have agreed to pay for bachelor accommodation in a western compound. They have mentioned there own compound Nesma but it's residents seem to be largely non European.

Ideally I want accommodation where there's a good number of UK and European residents to have bit of a life outside work.

I would be grateful if anyone out there can provide me with some recommendations of decent places with space

Why live on a compound these days ?? I live off compound in khobar and have a nice little flat costing me less than 26k a year (SAR) close to all the shops etc. So I make on my expenses.
I lived on a compound in Riyadh and Taif. I prefer it off compound now. With nearly 4 years in Khobar now and apart from any every one knowing your business what friends you have round to visit you etc. Nahhh for me off compound any time, you could make money on this deal too !!!!
