I am interested to know the quantity of drugs. I bet you it's less than a gram. I also bet you that it was so small he didn't know it was there.

I may be wrong - but I believe that most drug arrests at Dubai airport are not intentional - i.e they had a few spliffs in a Amsterdam coffee shop or whatever and a tiny amount remained somewhere.

And for this you get 4 years. It too much, really it is. Idiot or not, porn or not - if that grass was an tiny amount then 4 years is barbaric.

There needs to be a sliding scale, a judgement on each case rather than 4 years... it's too much.

Too much? I dont think so. How hard can it be to pack your bags and make sure there are no drugs in it? Come on its not exactly rocket science. I think anyone who "thinks" they can get away with it on lieniency "deserves" to get busted. If the UKs laws were not so lienient it would be a better place.
