Not a villa, but we stayed in a nice apartment on the Jumeirah Palm called the Royal Club. Beach Club access, sleeps 8 (just) only Dhs1k per night.

Thats a great price for a short term for 8 people. That villa in barsha is 4k a night!!

Yeah exactly. Though to be fair two of the people would have to be under 5ft tall (short) to get a decent night's sleep in the bunk beds!!

In saying that, there are some great deals for hotels at the moment so i would just get an apartment somewhere.

I have used this website many times in the past to source villas and apartments http://www.holiday-rentals.co.uk
Just search for Dubai and list the criteria you are looking for, like beach front, four bedroom, pool etc

myvillarenters.com is the site I have used for villas in europe, you book direct with the owners and can get some great deals. Not sure about Dubai but I would definateley recommend a peak and would be interested to know how you get on. :fingerscrossed:

Just had quick look on villarenters and found a 5 bed, sleeps 6 for around 4700dhm for 3 nights in the Springs.Private pool and looks ok.

there are no 5 bedrooms in the springs....
