Which website to get mobile & IT advice?

Every few weeks I get a message on my Samsung smartphone suggesting I don't have the software for ??something?? (can't recall).
Should I install antivirus and other stuff on my phone?

Also, is VIBER worth trying? Free calls & video I was told ??
