yeah, it's normally lovely...might get a few odd days of rain and cloud (which obviously are colder), but overall it's fine...

True, but chilly in the evening though and too cold to swim in the sea or an unheated pool.

Pretty much. The country isn't that big and the temp should only differ by a degree as you go North or South.

Have fun.

Unhappy Re: weather at christmas time

Oh to be in Dubai for Christmas!!!!

The Aberdeen forecast for Christmas is, severe rain, localised flooding and then freezing.

At least we get free ice skating on the local football pitch!!!!!

No, I take that back. The UK Government will be sure to tax us for attempting to enjoy ourselves!!!!

Or paid tax for that matter come to think of it.

As one of many Englishmen in Aberdeen (some would say for our sins!!) we do get out and enjoy ourselves from time to time. Not often, but occasionally we are seen strutting our stuff in the cosmopolitan nightclubs of the Granite City.

And as to the tax matter........I pay enough tax each month to keep several of the Aberdeenshire low lives housed, fed and watered and with enough time on their hands to go shopping for Burberry hats and mug old ladies!!!!!
